Benjamin Funk Johnson hails from Charlotte, North Carolina and has been performing professionally since he was 7 years old. He is the 2004 & 2005 Bass Fight Champion and is known for his ferocious funk style of bass playing that works in live settings, Church settings and the studio. B-Funk is also an accomplished drummer, guitarist and pianist and has been teaching music in the Charlotte, NC area for 20 years.

Todd Campbell is currently a Music Professor at Bloom University in Pennsylvania and is known for his eclectic use of ElectroAcousticDrums. He is also an accomplished pianist and recording engineer. Todd's percussion style can fit into any setting from rock to funk to jazz to experimental, and he is currently exploring the benefits of using Ableton Live in a live setting.

Be sure to catch B-Funk and Campbell performing with Michael Vick and Matt Olson at Furman University on Thursday, February 18th at 8:00 pm. This concert is FREE and open to the public.

Greenville Guitar Academy Will Be Closed for Guitar and Drum Lessons on 01/30/10 Due to Inclement Weather.

Classes and Lessons will not occur on January 30, 2010 due to the expected icy conditions. Many of our instructors and students travel sizable distances and are forced to drive on secondary roads, which will likely be hazardous throughout the day on Saturday. All classes and lessons will resume on Monday. Saturday students will resume on Feb. 6 at their regularly scheduled time.
