Greenville Guitar Academy Music Lesson Policies

TUITION: $90 per month for one half hour lesson each week ($180 for one hour long lesson each week). There will be four lessons each month. Any lesson days that fall on the fifth week of a month will either be skipped or used for makeups.

LATE PAYMENT FEES: Tuition for each month will be due at the last lesson of the previous month. i.e. tuition for November is due at the last lesson of October. A $10 late fee will apply every 7 days after the due date until payment is brought current.

BOUNCED CHECK FEES: Any returned checks will be subject to a $25 returned check fee.

REFUNDS: There are absolutely no refunds.

MATERIALS: Throughout lessons at Greenville Guitar Academy certain books and other materials may be required. As Greenville Guitar Academy does not engage in any retail, we will direct you to either local or online sources to purchase these items.

SUMMER GUITAR LESSONS: Guitar lessons continue throughout the summer at Greenville Guitar Academy.

WEEKLY GUITAR LESSONS: Each student is expected to attend their regularly scheduled lesson each week.

HOLIDAYS AND VACATION: Greenville Guitar Academy does not follow any school district’s schedule. We will be closed for the following holidays: New Years Day, July 4, Thanksgiving (Including the Friday after), Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day Teachers may choose to take other days off, if they do, ample notice will be given and lessons will be rescheduled.

MISSED GUITAR LESSONS: In order to receive a makeup lesson, any missed guitar lesson must be cancelled no less than 24 hours in advance, even in the case of emergencies and illness. Any lesson that is cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will be forfeited. No exceptions. Only one makeup lesson per month will be scheduled.

TERMINATING GUITAR LESSONS: If any student would like to discontinue lessons, we ask that they give Greenville Guitar Academy at least two weeks notice.

PRACTICING: Each student is expected to practice to his/her teacher’s expectations. Students who fail to keep up with their teacher’s expectations may be terminated after a one month probationary period.

PREPAYMENT: Discounts are available for prepayment of 3 or more months of lessons. For specific terms please speak with a member of Greenville Guitar Academy’s staff.
