The Beginning Guitar Summer Camp is designed
for the true beginner. Campers will have fun while learning
the basics of guitar playing. Topics covered will include:
parts of the guitar, reading music ,and playing chords.
Campers will have multiple opportunities to jam with other
guitarists and will learn at least one new song each day.
This camp is appropriate for students with less than 6
months playing experience. Each camper needs their own
guitar (and amp and cable if using electric guitar), a
notebook, and guitar pick.
Guitar Package Deals are available for any campers who do
not yet have a guitar. The packages are $199 for either
Acoustic guitar w/ hard case, or Electric Guitar w/ amp and
gig bag.

The Blues Guitar Summer Camp is tailored
towards adult students who are looking to have a lot of fun
learning about and playing the blues. Topics covered
include Common Blues Chord Progressions (12-Bar and 8-Bar
Blues), Common Blues Scales, Lead Guitar Techniques, and
Basic Slide Guitar. Students will jam with each other
daily! Students should have some playing experience and at
least be comfortable changing chords. Each student needs
their own guitar (and amp and cable if using electric
guitar), a notebook, and guitar pick.
